What do you say?

Are you glad that your animals cannot sometimes understand what you are saying? What do you tell them to do? Mia is our daughters cat, but our daughter has moved to her own house now, and we now have Mia left with us, and Mia can be a pest, especially at 4 in the morning, so we find ourselves offering to buy her a GPS unit so she can walk to out daughters house without getting lost. (But really we love her)

What do you say to your animals?

Where do you draw the line?

Television and cinema rules are that no animal will be harmed in the making of a program / film. In a recent reality program a rat was used for food, despite there being sufficient for the contestants and this has now become a court case.

But on another cooking program, a chief went out to a field, and off camera killed a rabbit that was used in a meal. Is there a difference?

Other cooking programs use fish, can we have any more cooking programs?

The TV program about whale wars, whales are ca… Continue

Water Bottles and sun

Most of us have heard about leaving the windows open a little in cars, when we have animals inside, here is something different. I have you seen the mail doing the rounds, where a person left a water bottle in the sun in the car. The water and bottled acted like a magnifing glass and focused the sun in the car, so much it caught fire. Please be careful.

hi peter, thank you for the warm greeting.

I used to have many pets, from hamster, snake, and rabbit and the last one was cat. I don't think i have that good skill as a pet owner so for the time being i don't think i will keep another pet in my household.

Hi Peter,

I have three dogs, all of which were rescued. Lucy is a chihuahua mix about 10 years old and is epileptic. She is on anti-seizure medication . BooBoo is a schitzu mix about 5 years old, and finally Spike is our latest addition, he is a Walker hound and is also about 5 years old. So I have quite the variety, thanks for the welcome message.

Dear Peter:
As I'm sure you know, those of us that have walked the walk know the difference between
a Friend and a Good Friend. The latter, I've found, is something that developes over time.
Honesty, truthfulness, concern, and the list goes on. A friend is a contract, a good friend is a
hand shake! I hope we can become good friends.
My Best Wishes,
Tom Barkdull and his faithful dog Roxy

Thank you Peter, I hope to be home soon. I have been here almost a year now. A friend of mine told me about this sight. So far I am impressed. I would love to put up photo's but my internet is too slow here. I will keep trying. I also joined this sight to try and find help financially trying to get Spunky and Coachese home with me. If you could pass the word I would be very greatfull. They diserve my greatest effort to get them home to my family. They have kept me going here. I owe them that. Once again Thank you very much,
Ed, Spunky, and Coachese
