My life revolves around my daughter and my pets. I work at home, which is great for the pets!

Optional: Tell us a little about your pets (names, ages, breeds):

Amaru is a female terrier mix, 8 years old.
Corky is a pit bull mix, 5 years old.
Webster is a male Maine coon mix, 5 years old. We just "lost" our baby in October (2009).
Kiki is a male parakeet, 7 years old.
Patrick is a male cockatiel, 5 years old.
Rosie is a female rottweiler, 3 years old.
Jiblet is our newest baby (bunny) at eight weeks old.

Optional: What are your pets' favorite things to do?

Amaru loves to play ball and tug.
Corky loves just being with his Mommy.
Kiki loves to chatter.
Patrick loves to kiss.
Rosie is very affectionate, loves to be petted, typical loyal Rottweiler!
Jiblet loves to chew, of course!

Optional: What are their "pet peeves"?

Amaru does not like to go in her crate
Corky does not like lawnmowers or water; is afraid of the hose and rain!
Kiki does not like when I put my hand in his cage.
Patrick does not like bad breath.
Rosie does not like baths.

Optional: What are their best tricks?

Amaru in her younger years would jump up on the fence and do a backflip.
Corky does not have any tricks; he is afraid of everything!
Kiki talks!
Patrick talks, imitates sounds and whistles the theme from Maybury.
Rosie is just extremely playful, still!

Optional: How did your pets become part of your family?

Amaru was an adoption.
Corky was a gift.
Rosie was a rescue/adoption.
Kiki was a Valentine's Day gift from me to my daughter.
Patrick was a birthday gift from my daughter to me.
Jiblet was purchased after the loss of Webster, to help try to fill the void.
