Optional: Tell us a little about your pets (names, ages, breeds):

We just recently adopted a female dog named Angie on 4/11/2009. She is about 1 years old. Give or take some. And she's a basset hound/Pointer mix. I have two male dogs. Jackson is a terrier mix and he's about 9. He's basically a fat version of a Jack Russel Terrier. Clyde is a purebred Basset Hound. He's about 3 years old. I have quite a few cats. Their names are Moses, Todd, Jasmine, Jasper, Elly and MJ. I also have two Rabbits, Alfalfa and Hello.

Optional: What are your pets' favorite things to do?

Angie loves to chew on and tear apart plush and ONLY plush toys. haha. Jackson loves to roll around in smelly things in the backyard and get into the garbage. He's very good at it. Clyde loves the sound of his voice, so he's always whining or howling. He loves to cuddle. Our cats love to sit in the bathroom and listen to the sound of their voices echo off the bathroom walls and to sleep inside our dresser drawers. Hello loves to eat my hair and homework and sleep on my back when I'm sleeping. Alfalfa is super shy, but very curious and likes to poop everywhere BUT his litter box. ^_^

Optional: What are their "pet peeves"?

Angie is new, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't like one of my cats. She's a bit scared of him. Jackson hates people putting their hands on his back or butt when he's sleeping. Clyde doesn't like to be alone or to be punished. Our girl cats (Elly, MJ and Jasmine) don't seem to like eachother all that much. Well they just bicker and chase eachother a lot. Moses doesn't like when people ignore him. Jasper doesn't like fast movements. Todd doesn't like new things or going outside or people waking him up. Alfalfa doesn't like anyone petting him except for me. Hello doesn't like my little sister.

Optional: What are their best tricks?

Ahhh! Angie can climb a ladder and a rock wall. I've seen her do it so many times already. She also likes to jump on the trampoline. Jackson's farts smell just like a skunk. He also loves to play soccer. And if you say "Jackson come sit in my lap" he'll really come over and sit on your lap. Its the funniest looking thing!
Clyde can run amazingly really fast for a dog with such short legs. My cats can climb just about anything and balance on just about anything. Heck, they can sleep on just about anything. Moses looks like a fat white version of Garfield. I guess you can call that a trick. Todd jumps up on my shoulders whenever he feels like it. Usually when I'm not paying attention (especially when I'm cooking)
Hello can jump high and do these sort of somersaults in the air. I'm not really sure what Alfalfa can do, yet. He's sort of new to this household.

Optional: How did your pets become part of your family?

On 4/11/2009 we adopted Angie from a shelter. We got Jackson from a humane society in Ann Arbor. Clyde was rescued from a puppy mill and we got him from the shelter that rescued him. Its actually kind of a long story how we came to get him. We got Jasper and Jasmine from this lady who ran for State Representative in St. Clair Shores (and won by a landslide). She didn't have enough time to take care of them. Jasper and Jasmine had three babies together. Elly, MJ, and Todd. Then we got them fixed. Moses has been with us for a long time. I found him under our house back in Washington state. He had been impaled by a 2 inch nail. Right through his chest. Amazingly he survived. My mom got Alfalfa for me at a pet store. The people there didn't know what to do with him because no one wanted him because he was so afraid of everybody. Hello was given to me by the popsicle man. I was buying my sister some ice cream when he asked me if I wanted a rabbit and he picked up this box and she was staring up at me. So, I came home with a little more than just ice cream that day. ^_^
