I agree. Have the vet check her out first, just to be safe. Otherwise, it could very well be a sign of her disagreement with some change in the household. I have heard that cats will do things like that if they're upset about something.

Hi Lisa. First, I'd recommend having Smoky checked out by a vet - she may have a urinary tract infection that is creating bladder control issues.
If it turns out to be a behavioral issue, you might try either a) feeding her on your bed a few times…
Lisa i am not a cat expert really but there's a chance she is angry about something. They do weird stuff like that when they are not happy. I'd buy a cat book at your local book store if you can. I got one a few months ago.

- I just love animals of any kind, mostly birds and dogs. i love baking cakes, and i love making homemade icing!don't even get me started on dancing!

- i have 2 pets, my gerbil Nibbles, and my dog, Fluffy. Nibbles is brand new, he isn't even a year old yet! Fluffy is female. She is a Maltese, and she is 5 years old even though she still acts like a puppy!
- Optional: What are your pets' favorite things to do?
- Nibbles favorite thing is to nibble. That is why I named him that! Our family buys him 100% eatable gerbil furniture for him because he would eat it up! He has already eaten up 2 gerbil houses! He is soooooooo funny just to watch. I could be entertained for hours! Fluffy's favorite thing to do is to bark or to run. If she sees another dog, she will bark her head off, or if she's outside, she will dart after them. The bad thing is, my neighbor has two dogs, Emma the lab, and Porsha the dachshund. Emma is HUGE compared to tiny old Fluffy, but she will charge at her anyway. Emma is Fluffy's WORST ENEMY!!!!

- Nibble's pet peeve is Fluffy. Fluffy is just like a giant monster to him! It is funny because Fluffy likes to mess with his mind. She growls at him, and when Nibbles runs to hide, Fluffy trots over to me happily, plops in my lap, and looks at me in a way that says, "Are you proud of me?" I feel sorry for poor Nibbles. Fluffy's pet peeve is moving vans. Yes, moving vans. when she sees one, take cover! Fluffy's wonder bark is going to take place! She barks, and whines, and scratches at the door. The look on her face is, "Kennedy, who's that? STRANGER DANGER!

- Sadly Fluffy and Nibbles don't do tricks. )=

- I got Nibbles for Christmas, and I got Fluffy because our family needed the perfect dog. We got her!

HELP THE DEAF DOGS!
Deaf dogs are going through a lot. When someone buys a deaf dog or puppy, they put it to sleep, just because they dont want a deaf dog. How sad is that? People shouldn't do cruel and harmful things as this! Dogs who are born deaf have MUCH better eyesight and their "sniffer" works better. Sometimes people put their deaf dogs to sleep just because they think they could be just to hard to train. NOT TRUE!
