- I rescue and rehabilitate animals in my area. I have been a vet tech for over 30 years , have 2 dogs and a cat. Work with animals of all sizes and species. I worked for over 7 years caring for the Houston police mounted unit.

- Rory is a ditch rescue that had parvo and was left in my driveway by her dad an escaped show Pit bull. Mom later died in the ditch but I was able to save the pups and find them homes. She has passed and been certified as a personal guard dog, she is 5
JJ is a catahoula,/ Australian shepherd mix rescued from death row at the shelter, he is a huge pony size size teddy bear that loves to be put in charge of kittens and puppies.He is 4
Tyke is a rescue from the side of the road. My sons brought him home in their shirt pocket and he has been raised with dogs so he therefore thinks he is one. When they are outside , he is the dog (cat) in charge of protection
He is 15 this year.
All the animals in my house are spayed or neutered

Play catch with tennis balls.
JJ loves the stuffed animals that make sounds and is often seen going for a walk with one in his mouth

Why are humans so disgusting?
Why is it that animals are still considered to be property that humans can just throw away or treat any way they want? Didn't anyone learn anything from the Vick situation where dog fighting was concerned/ What about all the people that only have their animals to share their lives with? The handicapped that lead fuller lives because of the animals that they are entrusted with.
